Why is Point University relocating its East Point location?
While the East Point location served us well in the past, we believe this new location will allow us to more effectively serve our Access students by providing a high-caliber quality facility and the easy accessibility of the new location via MARTA.
We will take the newest technology from our East Point campus and supplement it with additional technology to meet your needs. Because of our proximity to MARTA, we will also enjoy the additional security of MARTA police, who will patrol the area around the clock.
When will I learn more information about how this affects me?
East Point registrar will be emailing you to schedule a time to discuss your individual educational calendar. We will be hosting informational sessions with President Collins and key staff in the coming weeks to provide more details and answer questions. These events will be held on our East Point campus November 3, 4, and 6 at 6:00. Students will be allowed out of class to attend these sessions and professors will know ahead of time that you are excused.
If you know anyone who may be thinking about becoming a new student at Point University, there are information sessions for them on Nov. 18 and Dec. 4 at the new Lindbergh location.
What are the benefits of the new location in McDonough?
Offering classes at McDonough Christian Church will allow us to better serve new students from the area southeast of Atlanta.
Where is this new location?
McDonough Christian Church is conveniently located right off of 75 South at 2000 Jonesboro Road in McDonough, Georgia.
When will classes begin at the new McDonough location?
Beginning in August 2015, we will be starting new Access cohorts in the Associate of Arts in General Studies and the Bachelor of Science in Human Relations programs.
For many years, McDonough Christian Church has been a strong supporter of Point University. Many young people who grew up in the church went on to become students at Point.
