Associate of Arts in Applied Ministry
Point University offers the Associate of Arts in Applied Ministry in cooperation with church partners committed to educating the next generation of Christian leaders. Students apply classroom knowledge in practical, personal ministry and are given the opportunity to develop leadership skills and tailor them to a particular interest–including music, art, outreach, youth ministry, or sports. The program equips students with foundational preparation for service in church and ministry environments, with an extended ministry practicum under the mentorship of Point instructors and professional staff of partner churches.
Point offers the Associate of Arts in Applied Ministry in fully-online format (excluding the on-ground ministry practicum). Various church partners host the practicum components. Online students engage in asynchronous learning through a course website that facilitates interaction with their instructor and classmates.

Further Your Education
Point University, in partnership with Christ’s Church of the Valley in metro-Phoenix, Arizona offers students with a bachelor degree an opportunity to enroll in a Master of Strategic Ministry program which requires spending ten months in residency at CCV and completing required academic work as a part of the residency. The Master of Strategic Ministry program equips Christian graduate students with theological foundations and advanced skills in strategic leadership, missional ministry, and effective management of people and resources to extend the Kingship of God among all nations.
